What you need to sign up
Have these ready before you start; sign-up takes a few minutes.
- A Jordanian phone number (to sign up and so we can reach you)
- A clear photo of your driving licence
- A clear photo of your vehicle licence
- Car details: make, model, year, colour and plate number
- An Android phone with the Mshwar Captain app (iPhone version coming soon)
- Optional: your CliQ alias to receive CliQ fares
From download to your first trip
Download the Mshwar Captain app
from Google Play, and create your account with your email and Jordanian phone number.
Fill in your details and upload documents
Your name, licence number and car details, plus photos of your driving licence and vehicle licence. Only the Mshwar team sees them.
Wait for approval
We review your application, and the app opens automatically once approved. If something’s missing, we’ll tell you what to fix.
Go online and start
Accept your first request, follow the route to the rider, and start the trip.

Is signing up free?
Yes, signing up as a Mshwar captain is completely free.
How do I get paid?
The rider chooses before booking: cash straight to you, or a CliQ transfer to the alias you add in the app.
Can I use a non-Jordanian number?
No, captains need a Jordanian phone number.
Who sees my document photos?
Only the Mshwar team, to review your application. Riders never see them.
My application was rejected. What now?
The app shows you the reason, and you can fix your details and resubmit from the same screen.
Is there an iPhone app?
It’s on Google Play now; the iPhone version is coming soon.
How do I contact Mshwar?
From the Mshwar Captain app: “Contact support”. You’ll get our reply as a notification.
